songs just like a bosom friend

Despite that I am not a good singer, I like to listen to songs. So many years, happy or not, songs just like a bosom friend have always been there for me. And I find that, songs are very magic. The touching rhythms and moving lyrics would always affect our mood, making us excited, or giving us courage, or giving us power. If I am lost in some emotion, sad or bored, songs would take me to my own world, creating a very space for me to figure out the things disturbing me, and to refresh my mind. I really feel thankful to those people who compose so beautiful songs.

What makes it a pity is that I'm not good at singing. Sometimes, I really want to become that singer to sing out my inner voice, while the fact make me so frustrated. So I would just imagine I am that singer, and imitating their feelings, though very silently, it really works.

That year, Ripken also won the AL Rookie of the Year Award and began his consecutive games played streak.
